Warrill Park Lawn Cemetery is the largest and most utilised cemetery in the Ipswich region. It is a modern lawn cemetery incorporating the Ipswich Crematorium, chapel facilities, memorial gardens and columbarium walls
When choosing a burial at Warrill Park Lawn Cemetery our team are here to support the funeral directors and families through the burial service. The burial includes the Ipswich Cemeteries grounds team setting up the grave area for the internment with shelter, chairs for members of the congregation and set up of the coffin lowering device ready for the internment.
Basic Lawn Plots
We also offer a basic burial option in the peaceful lawn area of Section 3, Block 6, Rows 14 – 22. Families cannot pre-select their burial plots in this area. All plots will be allocated by our operations Supervisor.
For memorial plaques in the basic lawn area, we feature a choice of two cast bronze options that will be affixed to a flat concrete base seamlessly embedded in the lawn. Please note that these memorial plaques must be purchased through Ipswich Cemeteries, and we offer two thoughtful designs for either double or single inscriptions.
Standard Lawn Beam Plots
Our standard burial plots are in the lawn beam areas at the rear of the cemetery. They feature a concrete beam for location of the inclined headstone.
If you wish to be close to an existing grave of a family member, we invite you to make an appointment with our compassionate staff to help you select a plot from those available. Alternatively, if you do not have family members buried here, you could choose a plot from within two rows of the ongoing burials—ensuring you can still feel connected. Alternatively, our operations Supervisor can select a plot on your behalf.

For memorialisation, we provide a variety of options with plaques affixed to a sloping desk made of solid concrete or granite. Our friendly team is ready to assist you in custom-designing a memorial that reflects the essence of your loved one, ensuring their memory is honoured beautifully.
Pre-Need Reservations
Families wishing to prearrange a burial position have options available in the Standard Lawn Beam sections. The reservation secures the burial right to a particular plot purchased at todays rates with no further costs for the site. As the burial right makes up a large portion of the burial costs locking in a plot at todays rates makes sense to many families when pre planning to alleviate the burden on families members and ensuring your wishes carried out.
Fees relating to the grave digging and internment will remain payable at the time of use along with the selection and purchase of a memorial to mark the grave. These costs will be as listed at the time of use.
